This is a used ORIGINAL Set of Four WIRE SPOKE HUB CAPS from a 1967 Chevrolet CAMARO. In the center is the Chevrolet Logo and around it says "CHEVROLET MOTOR DIVISION". They are for 15" wheels and are 16" in overall diameter. In the center on back side it says Chevy with part # 3908762. These would look great on other period Chevrolet models with 15" wheels. These are original quality items as were made in the period. They are heavy and solid at just over 5 pounds each. They are in very good condition with minimal pitting only at the centers and typical age and use wear. They have some light scratches and small dings consistent with use. There are a couple of outward dings on edges from when these were being pried off in their past. One of them has some more pronounced scratches at the edges (second to last photo shows this), perhaps these can be sanded and polished away by a professional polisher. Otherwise they appear very lightly used. Listed separately are a Pair of Rear Leaf Springs from same 1967 Camaro. Thanks for looking.

Los Angeles Auto Show 2011: Photo roundup

Sat, 19 Nov 2011

2011 Los Angeles Auto Show Roundup This week saw the start of the Los Angeles Motor Show, so we thought we’d have a quick look at what was on the floor, including some of the stuff we haven’t already looked at. There was the ‘cool in white’ Jaguar stand and the latest Defender DC100 Concept, all prettied up in baby blue. There were Camaros and Mustangs, the new Bentley GTC (but no V8 – that’s for Detroit in January), a hot Beetle R and Volvo’s You Concept that points the way to the next generation of Volvo design.

Smaller Mercedes SLS confirmed, and with front-mounted V8 too

Baby Mercedes SLS AMG - or at least how it could have looked if mid-engined We’ve believed for some time that Mercedes were planning a smaller version of the SLS, but so far there’s been no official word. But that’s now changed, with AMG’s Christoph Jung telling AutoExpress that Mercedes and AMG are currently working on a smaller SLS, to go head-to-head with cars like the Porsche 911 and Audi R8. Interestingly, we’d thought that Mercedes would go the route of a mid-engined two-seater for the baby SLS, and that it would probably get a turbo V6. But it would appear not.

Porsche 911: the new 2009 model

Fri, 06 Jun 2008

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 06 June 2008 08:00 The great survivor of the sports car world – the Porsche 911 – has evolved again. Porsche today unveils the latest in a long line of 911s and the new one heralds the arrival of Porsche’s new twin-clutch transmission (dubbed PDK) and direct-injection. Amazingly, it makes the coupe nearly as fuel efficient as a family car, nudging 30mpg.  Porsche 911: the 2009 model year There’s no new model designation this time: it remains a 997 at heart and Porsche calls the latest 911 a ‘second-generation 997’, despite a raft of technical changes under the same-again skin.
