Up for sale is this 1967 Chevrolet Impala convertible frame with both front and rear suspensions. This is a northern climate frame that is in solid condition with just a couple of areas that need attention. I poked around the entire frame and did not find any soft spots. The transmission crossmember does have two holes in it about the size of a quarter on the underside. The front body mounts have the typical corrosion around the hole where the mount cushion sits...see pics. The rear rails where they meet the rear crossmember are damaged slighty from what looks like someone used those holes there for tie downs...see pics. Other then those above issues the frame should cleanup with sandblasting quite well. There is light surface corrosion but nothing I would call heavy and flakey. There would probably be some areas that will show pitting once painted with the worst area being on the crossmember above the rear end. The frame measures up very square. It also looks solid on the inside in the areas one can see. It also still has the interesting '67 only convertible support bracket things under the rear seat area. Rear end is a open 10 bolt. Steering is a manual sector...don't see too many of them.

If you would like more pics of anything just ask. If your somewhat local to WI and would like to see it, please let me know to set something up. No shipping so winner will be responsible for pick up...I can help load on my end. Thanks for looking and please contact me with any questions.

Over 350,000 drivers 'at risk of £1,000 fine'

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

THOUSANDS of drivers risk collecting a £1,000 fine or worse by being unaware of the date their MOT expires. Research by MOTA, an independent booking provider of servicing and MOTs suggests that 43% of customers making enquiries already had an expired MOT, and 15% had no idea when their MOT was due. A car without a valid MOT being driven on the road is potentially subject to a £1,000 by the police, and also means that insurers may not pay out in the event of an accident.
