Item pictured (sorry for  shaky hand) for auction is a very rare 67 Comet 8000 rpm tachometer. It was removed from a 67 Cyclone GT 390 R code car in poor condition,faded and not working. This one year  tachometer was offered also as a factory installed option on all 67 models with a V/8 engine. This  rare tach been fully restored to better than like new condition(there is another on e-bay presently for over a $$grand$$ non working),, it belongs and is an added value to your Comet .....P.S...Includes clock lens setting hole plug to install this tachometer (not shown) and is very easy to (simple) to install and wiring also. Audi are running an RS5 at the Pikes Peak Hillclimb event in Colorado and taking the opportunity to showcase Ducati with a competition. The Pikes Peak International Hillclimb is a 12 mile hillclimb event held in the Pikes Peak Mountain Range in Colorado, with 156 turns and a climb to 4,720 feet. A test of any car (or motorbike).

The new BMW i3 EV (teased above) will costs from £30k The new BMW i3 electric City Car is due to be revealed in production guise on 29th July, ahead of which BMW has revealed it will cost from £30,680 – meaning a showroom sticker price of £25,680 after the EV taxpayer ‘grant’. That price is for the pure EV i3 – not the range-extender – which comes with a rear mounted 168bhp electric motor, a top speed of 93mph and a range (in ideal conditions) of around 80 miles between charges. At a retail price of £25k, the i3 compares favourably with other EVs like the Nissan LEAF, which costs from £21k, and the Chevy Volt at £30k (although that is a range extender).
