1967 Corvette HT 327 350hp Engine 3892657 657 3890462 462 Original and Rare

This engine was removed from a running driving 1967 Corvette Feb. 2016. Intake and carb were not number matching so I removed to sell separately. Short block assembly and heads are matching and original. Engine will run if you want to use it in a survivor type restoration but I recommend a rebuild. It's old and has original Corvette oil pan. Could be original pulleys and water pump but not for sure. Exhaust manifolds are not correct numbers for 1967 but work fine for Corvette. Heads have original GM O rockers ( long slot high performance)

Block # 3892657  Date D-12-7

Pad # 7117307  VO414HT

HT suffix is SPH special high performance 327 350 horse HYD cam manual trans.

Heads # 3890462  Dates  C-15-7  D-10-7

Should have the larger 2.02 valves. LH exhaust manifold 3749965   RH 3747938  Water pump 3771

Team Lotus snaps up Caterham +video

Wed, 27 Apr 2011

Team Lotus buys Caterham Cars - and a Team Lotus Special Edition Seven to celebrate Team Lotus – that’s the ‘Lotus’ F1 run by Tony Fernandes, not the Hethel mob run by Dany Bahar – has bought Caterham Cars from Corven Ventures for an undisclosed sum. Which is all very apposite, what with Caterham being the spiritual home of Colin Chapman’s Lotus Seven and keeper of the Chapman ethos of lighter is better. To tie Caterham back in to the Lotus name could work wonders for sales.

Automotive Interiors Expo 2010

Thu, 08 Jul 2010

The first Automotive Interiors Expo, an event that was part of no less than five automotive trade exhibitions gathered together at the Stuttgart Messe, took place in southern Germany from the 22 to 24 of June. The exhibitions, comprising European Automotive Components Expo, Automotive Testing Expo, Vehicle Dynamics Expo and Engine Expo, showcased the latest technologies and services from over 500 suppliers to the automotive industry. Grouped in three large halls, the Expo covered conventional powertrains and batteries right through to vehicle electrical systems and crash testing, but it also featured a panel of experts discussing the color, feel and shape of material design, synergies and design challenges; safety, lighting and HMI's; and interior component design as a means of achieving sustainable and lightweight vehicles.
