Here is a long block for a 390hp or 400hp 1967 427 Corvette or Impala with 385hp 427. This was a good running engine when pulled to replace for a matching engine. The block is dated September 6th, 1966. The heads are dated August 13th and September 15th, 1966. This originally came out of a passenger car. It has been decked a slight amount. The cylinders are standard bore with no issues and have a very minimal ridge that can barely be felt. The crank is a 6223 and has STD-STD written on it. The heads have a prominent surface ledge. The head of Audi’s Brussels plant – Alfons Dintner – has confirmed that the Audi A1 will start production in October after a five week shutdown in August to gear the Brussels plant up for production of the new A1. The new Audi A1 will start to hit European Showrooms in the early part of 2010.

But now Gordon Murray is on the same mission: to persuade us that his titchy T27 city car is as safe as houses too. Gordon Murray Design has just issued its first crash test results, showing a T27 electric car after a crash test at the UK's MIRA industry research lab. The crash test in question was the European-standard 40% offset deformable barrier front high-speed impact.
