This auction is for a Holley 1967 Ford, Mustang, Comet, Cougar & Fairlane, G.T 390 Engine, automatic transmission, four-barrel carburetor. The carburetor air horn is stamped: C7OF 9510-B List 3794 with a date of 605, (October, fifth week 1966). The carburetor has the correct metering blocks: 5230 (front) and 4841 (rear). This is a nice complete carburetor core. It has the correct front float bowl that is threaded on both sides. There are no frozen parts. All parts move freely. This is an excellent carburetor for a Concours restoration. The carburetor is sold as is with no returns. Recommend having the carburetor rebuilt by a professional rebuilder. It was an interesting qualifying for the 2012 Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona, with McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton taking pole position from the Williams of Pastor Maldonado. But it was all for nought for the McLaren.

Porsche opens new Weissach design studio
Mon, 21 Jul 2014Porsche has officially opened its new design center. Located at its Weissach development center, the facility includes interior and exterior design departments, plus a dedicated area for concept car construction. According to Porsche chairman, Matthias Müller, the architecture of the new studio has been designed to allow the firm's "creative developers to work hand-in-hand even more methodically than before." The new design center is one of three new buildings opened at the site, which have been built as part of a $200million investment at Weissach.
