Here is your chance to own the "Holy Grail" of Mopar Literature. This is the ultra rare 1967 Plymouth Motion Book Volume 1. There were only 2 Volumes produced, Volume 1 in 1967 and Volume 2 in 1969. These were only available at Plymouth Performance Clinics and by special request to Chrysler. Very few copies survive today and they are the coolest Performance Brochure ever produced. The 24 pages are 12" X 15" and include classic black and white photos with that classic artistic touch that Mopar was known for in the 60's and include photos of the Heroes of the era like Petty and Sox and Martin. They also include all the Spec's and info on the Muscle Line Up of entries that Plymouth had in 67 including GTX, Cuda Formula S and Sport Fury as well as the Spec's on the potent motors in each including 426 Hemi, 440 and Hi Po 273. No Mopar Collection is complete without one of these pieces of History.  Payment is due within 72 hours of purchase. At Troxel’s Auto Literature we do our best to describe items as accurately as possible; that said we ask that you ask all the questions regarding condition or coverage of models before placing a bid or purchasing the item. Thank you

Aston Martin CC100 Speedster Concept celebrates Aston Martin’s Centenary (video)

Sun, 19 May 2013

Looking like a modern interpretation of the legendary AM DBR1 Le Mans car from the 1950s, the CC100 is a dramatic ‘Speedster’ concept powered by Aston’s latest V12 and makes its debut – driven by Ulrich Bez – at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring Race event in Germany today (19th May 2013). Aston put together the CC100 in less than six months (did no one tell them 2013 was Aston’s centenary year until last Christmas?), and roped in carbon fibre specialists Multimatic to create the body and interior from carbon fibre, and Aston Martin used the VHM platform to create the underpinnings for the CC100, and have powered it with the latest version of the V12 AM11 engine with a six-speed sequential gearbox. Chief Exterior Designer, Miles Nurnberger, said: The brief was very simple, yet enormously testing: create something that reflects the 100 years of Aston Martin heritage and signals the future of the brand.

The Cadillac Converj is going in to production as the Cadillac ELR When GM revealed the Cadillac Converj Concept at Detroit in 2009 it all looked very promising. But it came to nothing, despite rumours it was going in to production. But now it is going in to production, as the Cadillac ELR.
