Here is your chance to own the "Holy Grail" of Mopar Literature. This is the ultra rare 1967 Plymouth Motion Book Volume 1. There were only 2 Volumes produced, Volume 1 in 1967 and Volume 2 in 1969. These were only available at Plymouth Performance Clinics and by special request to Chrysler. Very few copies survive today and they are the coolest Performance Brochure ever produced. The 24 pages are 12" X 15" and include classic black and white photos with that classic artistic touch that Mopar was known for in the 60's and include photos of the Heroes of the era like Petty and Sox and Martin. They also include all the Spec's and info on the Muscle Line Up of entries that Plymouth had in 67 including GTX, Cuda Formula S and Sport Fury as well as the Spec's on the potent motors in each including 426 Hemi, 440 and Hi Po 273. No Mopar Collection is complete without one of these pieces of History.  Payment is due within 72 hours of purchase. The Toyota Auris Hybrid UK starts at £19k and arrives in July Toyota has had more than their fair share of woes this year, what with the Throttlegate recalls and loss of confidence in Toyota as a result, not just by buyers but by investors. But Toyota are fighting back and pushing ahead with their ‘Green Dream’ of delivering a hybrid for every occasion (we ask every time, but why?) and have now confirmed trim and price for the UK-built Toyota Auris Hybrid. Starting price – when the Auris Hybrid hits the market in the UK in July – will be £18,950.

The Fiat Freemont - Dodge Journey with a Fiat badge At the end of December we revealed that Fiat had decided they should take the Dodge Journey and turn it in to a Fiat. The Fiat Freemont – for that is what Fiat had decided to rename the Dodge Challenger for Europe –  would effectively be a replacement for the Fiat Ulysse MPV. It seems that Fiat has caught up with our story, so we now have official details on what the Freemont will offer.

McLaren P1 Track confirmed as McLaren Automotive goes in to profit

McLaren are building a track version of the P1 (pictured) for P1 customers only It’s only three years since McLaren Automotive entered the hugely competitive market for high-end supercars (well, it’s four years, but only three since the first 12C went to a customer), but it’s already in profit. McLaren made an operating profit in 2013 of £12.4 million (and a pre-tax of £4.4 million) on sales of £284.4 million and did so – as predicted – by hitting their sales targets – McLaren sold 1359 12Cs and 36 of the McLaren P1 hypercar. And that looks to be just the start.
