Pilkington Vehicle Design Awards 2010

Royal College of Art vehicle design graduates Marten Wallgren and David Seesing took top honors at the Pilkington Vehicle Design Awards held at the RCA in London on 24 June. Marten Wallgren from Sweden scooped the award for Best Overall Design Interpretation for his next-generation car sharing system entitled 'The Grid'. The 'private public transportation service for the year 2025' incorporated a two-seater, semi autonomously driven car with community charging features.

The Koenigsegg Agera hits the floor at Geneva We managed to uncover information on the Koenigsegg Agera early on, following on from the chat we had with Koenigsegg when they told us they would be bringing ‘Something New’ to the Geneva Motor Show. Keiichi Tsuchiya is the ‘Drift King’ with his Toyota AE86 sliding and squirming in balletic slides as he makes it dance in a way cars just don’t. So it makes sense to get Keiichi Tsuchiya in to the driving seat of the new Toyota GT86 to show that an affordable sports car from Toyota can be a whole bunch of fun in ways that more powerful cars just aren’t.
