These are some of the dash controls/switches out of a 1968 Chrysler Newport convertible. Fits in any 67-68 Chrysler Newport and probably other models of those years but you need to verify that before bidding. This lot includes from left to right: Convertible top switch, interior light switch, Flasher switch, windshield wiper switch (I'm pretty sure but not positive), windshield washer fluid button.

Nissan to build Mercedes engines in Tenn. plant

Nissan Motor Co. and Daimler AG said they have agreed to produce four-cylinder Mercedes-Benz gasoline engines at Nissan's Decherd, Tenn., engine factory from 2014 to be fitted on Mercedes-Benz and Infiniti models. Nissan and its alliance partner Renault SA have a wide-ranging agreement with Daimler to share vehicle and powertrain technologies.

Senate considers more funds for cash-for-clunkers program

The cash-for-clunkers program is running on fumes, and government officials are working to get more funds for the popular program before the end of the week. A plan to add $2 billion to the fund passed the House and is being considered by the Senate, where is appears to have support, Reuters reports. The initial $1 billion clunkers outlay is nearly exhausted.
