Up for sale is a nice original dash pad removed from a 1971 Ford F250 pickup truck. It's dark green in color and does have some flaws but is overall pretty nice. I'd call it good driver quality. As for the flaws, there is one small crack on the passenger side end (6th image), a small pen tip size hole on top (7th image) and a couple of small cracks around the speaker area as well as cracks in the speaker 'netting' (should be visible in the 8th image). The color is faded in areas and there is also some rust on the vent grilles, but I'd expect whoever ends up with this will go over it with vinyl dye to make it even nicer.

All mounting studs are in excellent shape and the nuts are included.

Shipping will be a flat $45 but I'll issue a refund if it ends up much less. Local pickup is welcome as well.

New Mercedes-Benz S-class spotted in SoCal

Wed, 10 Apr 2013

The new Mercedes-Benz S-class must be hustling toward the developmental-cycle finish line, because it's been spotted en masse in places such as Toronto (where it must be undergoing cold-weather testing) and Irvine, Calif. (where it must be gauging the interest of Benz-crazy vox populi). Because as devoid as it is of bodywork-breaking pillboxes, camera-obfuscating swirl paint, and surly engineers, the fact that it's seen here in little more than some sticky paper and a pair of cheap sunglasses on the driver means that the elder statesman of the automotive world is readying its next debut.

Brits taking risks abroad

Wed, 30 Jul 2014

THOUSANDS of British drivers risk breaking down or paying an expensive repair bill while on holiday in Europe. More than a quarter of UK drivers head to the continent without checking their car or having it serviced in preparation for a long journey. The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) found 33% of drivers make no effort to check their car, motorbike or motorhome before going on holiday.

Alfa Romeo MiTo GTA – the end?

Wed, 22 Jul 2009

Alfa Romeo MiTo GTA - are Alfa going to make it? But are Alfa really going to can the MiTo GTA? Hard to say, but for us it seems highly unlikely.
