this b-body convertible top has been gone through and restored by a b-body convertible expert..the large top bow that comes down on top of the front windshield has been fixed as these are impossible to find without those two areas on the far left and right being fixed.. you will not find a smoother operating top mechanism as this one works extremely well. it also comes with the top piston plates and the top b. you will spend big dollars to get a top working this way..or just buy this one and take three or four steps look at the pics closely and please ask questions before bidding please ask any and all questions before bidding..these are extremely large to ship to a forward air terminal at a major airport near you..this allows me to pack the top for safe travel..if you cant travel to a major airport within about an hour of you, then please do not offer on this part..but if you can travel a little for a great part, then please offer accordingly.. thus shipping will be via forward air or fed ex and will be 175.00 in the cont usa...it will include good packing and insurance and tracker. please text or call 440-522-0048 with any questions buy this for your restoration as it will push you ahead with your project... |

Rare foreign cars head to Carlisle this weekend
Thu, 15 May 2014Every spring, Carlisle, Pa., (otherwise known as the Woodstock of the classic-car hobby, a title it now fully shares with Hershey) hosts a weekend event just for foreign cars. Last year, over 1,000 cars gathered in central Pennsylvania, with rare foreign machinery making its way from all over the lower 50 and parts of Canada. The longest-traveled cars we spotted last year wore British Columbia plates, which should give you a clue as to the event's following, though we're still unsure which cars we spent the longest time gawking at.
Geely to buy bankrupt London Taxis

Back in October we reported that Manganese Bronze – makers of the iconic London Taxi – had gone in to administration, finally tipped over the edge by steering box failures in the TX4. After years of under-investment – and a product that has been usurped by both the Mercedes Vito Taxi and the new Nissan NV200 Taxi – it looked like Manganese Bronze had no way back.
