Up for sale is a nice 1968 or 1969 AMC Ambassador Rebel Pushbutton AM Radio. Stamped on the top of the radio is 8SMR. A note is on the side of the case that says "Plays Good!". We picked up this radio and alot of others over the years at various venues. I recently had it tested and it plays great up and down the dial. The case is clean with no rust. All mechanicals work as they should. The lens, chrome pushbuttons and knobs are in good condition. The factory wiring is intact. The radio comes with knobs as shown. I'm selling the radio without a warranty because the electonics is over 35 years old and I don't trust old electronics. I will be putting up more radios sale this week and next week. The radio you see in the picture is the one you get. Please read description and ask any questions before purchase. Buyer pays fixed rate shipping of $12.00  for USPS Priority Medium Flat Rate Shipping (Lower 48 states only). I carefully wrap my radios in Bubble Wrap to insure safe shipping. I accept Paypal. Any questions, feel free to email me. Good Luck and Thanks for Looking!!      RA-396

Get up close and personal with the David Brown Automotive Speedback

Fri, 28 Mar 2014

The David Brown Automotive Speedback is certainly one of the more intriguing coachbuilt cars we've seen recently -- all the more so because it's a product of Britain, not the carrozzeria hub of Italy. We just got our first glimpse of the Speedback yesterday, and thanks to this XCar video, we can dive a bit deeper into the car's origins and its many design details (unfortunately, there's no on-road footage yet). The Speedback, in the words of DBA founder David Brown, seeks to combine the “classic simplicity of the '60s underpinned by a modern platform with all of the functionality you'd expect from a modern car.” And it does so successfully, from what we can tell so far.
