I'm cleaning out my garage and selling a number of my RARE and NOS parts that I have acquired over the last 25 years.

Here's an NOS 1968 and 1969 Camaro Rally Sport Headlight Actuator.   (SINGLE)

Talk about a hard to find part!  Take a close look, this is an assembly line correct NOS part.  The assembly line versions have the 30 degree vacuum hose tube versus the service replacement which has a 45 degree vacuum hose tube.  These original NOS "assembly line" actuators rarely come up for sale.

Part number: 5638486

This has been sitting in an enclosed garage for nearly 25 years.  If you have a special car where everything needs to be 100% ORIGINAL then this is for you.  THIS IS NOT A REPRODUCTION, IT'S THE REAL DEAL!!!  It is NOS and in the GM packaging.  As with all my parts, this is sold in as-is condition and all sales are final.  High bidder to add $15 for shipping.  Good luck and feel free to contact me with any questions.

Bentley Hunaudières: The Bentley that became a Bugatti

Sun, 29 Apr 2012

Bentley Hunaudieres Now seemingly forgotten, the Bentley Hunaudières Concept car from the 1999 Geneva Motor Show was the forerunner to the Bugatti Veyron. At the end of the 1990s Volkswagen embarked on a buying frenzy that would see them become makers of some of the world’s most desirable cars, acquiring Bentley, Bugatti and Lamborghini in the space of a few months in 1998. But even though VW had bought Bentley and Bugatti it seems they weren’t entirely sure at first where they would take their new marques, and at the 1999 Geneva Motor Show they revealed a W16 hypercar.

Bruce Meyer: A good guy gets recognition

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

Bruce Meyer, one of the best ambassadors of the collector-car hobby, will be honored as an "Automotive Icon" at the 30th anniversary of the Dana Point Concours d'Elegance, June 23-24, 2012, in Dana Point, Calif. Meyer's list of boosterism for the car hobby is long and impressive. He was the founding chairman of the Petersen Automotive Museum and founder of the museum's support group the Checkered Flag 200, he was inducted into the Dry Lakes Hall of Fame and the Grand National Roadster Show Hall of Fame, and he has driven in the Italian Mille Miglia, the French Tour Auto, the Goodwood Festival of Speed and on the Bonneville Salt Flats in the United States.

Aston Martin One-77 on London streets +video

Mon, 03 May 2010

The Aston Martin One-77 in London We’re getting really close to the first production Aston Martin One-77 getting in to the hands of a customer (and in all probability in to the hands of the guy who’s bought 10 AM One-77s), and for the first time we’ve actually seen the One-77 out in the wild. This One-77 was taking part in a supercar run from London to Silverstone on Friday to promote the FIA GT1 World Championship which takes place this weekend at the new Silverstone track, and was the first chance to see the One-77 both on the move and away from a static display at an event. We’ve seen the One-77 in the flesh a couple of times, but each time it’s been the same car (the AM One-77 from Salon Prive last year) but this is a different car.
