Here is a used wiper door actuator with correct configuration for ’68 and early-’69 Corvette. 

Photos show unit is complete; no damage or rot.  Piston does move but not smoothly - this will need some exercise and/or disassembly to be functional under vacuum.  Please note that stud has been altered to a larger 5/16"-18 thread.

Toyota to end Australian manufacturing in 2017

When Holden announced that it would no longer build cars in Australia after 2017, that country’s flagging automotive industry was effectively put on notice -- Mitsubishi had stopped building cars there in 2008, and Ford says its two plants there will close in October 2016. Now Toyota has announced that it has no option but to end vehicle Australian vehicle production. Like Holden, it will close its factories there in 2017.

BMW tuner Manhart creates 743-hp M6 Coupe

There are BMW M6 drivers out there for whom the stock output of 560-hp and 500 lb-ft of torque just aren't enough. At least that's what German tuner Manhart is betting on in unveiling their MH6 700 version of the M6 hardtop. Manhart has been tuning BMWs and only BMWs for 20 years, and they've worked on everything from the E30 3-series to the latest offerings from the Bavarian automaker.
