Mon, 15 Jun 2009

Jaguar’s next-generation XJ luxury sedan will incorporate design features from the C-XF concept first shown at Detroit, AutoWeek has learned. Although prototypes captured by spy photographers are disguised with BMW-style grilles, the face of the new 2010 XJ will feature Jag’s gaping square grille and a curvaceous body with a rakish, coupelike rear window. The final XJ incorporates slim headlights with double-projector lenses that are very close in design to those revealed on the dramatic C-XF shown at the 2007 North American International Auto Show.

Genesis and Elantra to star in Hyundai's Super Bowl ads

Tue, 24 Dec 2013

Hyundai is getting ready for the Big Game, and by that we really mean the big ad game, and the stars of their seventh consecutive Super Bowl ads will be the 2015 Genesis and the 2014 Elantra. Last year's Super Bowl ad from the automaker featured the Hyundai Santa Fe in two spots titled "Epic Playdate" and "Team," both of which were well received. For Super Bowl XLVIII, the 2015 Hyundai Genesis spot titled "Dad's Sixth Sense" is set to air during the first quarter of the game, and all Hyundai is saying for now is that it will highlight the sedan's Automatic Emergency Braking feature in a way that relates to the near-misses and saves of everyday parenting.

Button & Brawn – World Champions

Sun, 18 Oct 2009

Barricehllo, Brawn and Button celebrate the Brawn Success The Brazilian Grand Prix was chaotic even before the lights went out to start the race. Qualifying was a nightmare with a constant deluge of rain soaking the track and Button seemed to have lost all chance of a win when he started 14th, with team mate – and chief rival for the championship – Barrichello on pole. The race saw Barichello suffer a puncture; Trulli and Sutil almost coming to blows after a coming together that also pitched Alonso out; Raikkonen lost his front wing and suffered a puncture and Kovalainen left the pits with his fuel hose attached, which sprayed fuel on Raikkonen and set fire to his car.
