Decent set of SS1 caps with retainers. These are the correct Olds caps with the small band around the bottom. Chevrolet caps and most aftermarket caps do not have that band and are not correct for Oldsmobiles. Chrome is average or maybe a little better with no heavy pitting. Will need new emblems. |

GM puts Girsky in charge of Europe operations
Thu, 12 Jul 2012General Motors has put vice chairman Steve Girsky in charge of its troubled European operations, replacing Karl-Friedrich Stracke. GM said that Stracke will handle special assignments from chairman Dan Akerson. GM said Girsky will serve as "acting head" of its European operations while it searches for a replacement executive.
Ford F-150: Diesel model is delayed
Mon, 04 May 2009A diesel engine for the Ford F-150 light-duty pickup is looking dicey. Ford had said it would sell a diesel F-150 beginning in 2010. Last spring, dealers were shown a 4.4-liter V-8 diesel said to deliver more power and torque than the F-150's 5.4-liter gasoline V-8 and offer a 20 percent fuel savings.

Subaru are building just 900 Spec C cars which feature a number of improvements over the already available STI spec. Subaru has dropped the weight – by an undisclosed amount – by fitting a smaller battery, aluminium bonnet and laminar glass at the front and sides.
