Measuring 4920mm long, 1870mm wide, and 1460mm tall, the new A6 is shorter and lower – but wider – than its predecessor, and has a longer, 2910mm wheelbase. Most substantial of these is probably the 1.4 litre turbo, which has been tweaked to give over 180bhp. But the revisions all round are quite a bit more than a cosmetic job to create a cheap baby Ferrari.
