GM 4053 DZ carb dated 702 or 1967 October 2nd week. Original part number 3923289 DZ. Ran on my car as recently as 9-28-2013. Run perfectly replaced only because needed a slightly earlier date.These early run 4053 carbs are extremely hard to find. This carb is correct for a 1968 Z 28 or L78 L79 Camaro Chevelle Nova Or Impala with 396 / 375 or 302 / 290 hp combinations.This carb has pitting on the air horn and is not as bad as the pic shows but is not perfectly readable. Most digits are.Otherwise in VGC.No performance issues at all. Complete original carb with good baseplate and correct metering blocks 5583 and 4519. Christopher Benjamin, Chief Designer at Volvo's Monitoring and Concept Center in the US, has penned his vision of a future P1800 as part of Volvo's half-centenary celebrations for the car. Unveiled during the #SwedeSpeak Twitter chat, Benjamin presented this future vision of the iconic sports car. Volvo states that Benjamin is a true admirer of the original P1800 and that these images are what he feels a modern-day interpretation could look like.
