1966 1967 FAIRLANE COMET RANCHERO HEATER CORE HOSE FIREWALL SEAL

This is a reproduction heater pipe outlet seal. The holes are about 1 1/2" apart. Outside measurements are approx. 1 1/2" x 3" x 3/8" thick. This slides over the heater core outlet and inlet tubes against the firewall in the engine compartment. It is held in place by the heater hoses once they are installed. It is very soft and pliable and looks just like the original. Very nice reproduction. Perfect for a concours restoration. This is an often overlooked detail-don't let Winky ding you for incorrect firewall sealing!!! Great replacements for a driver. Check my other auctions for more FE Fairlane parts. Great part for a driver or restoration project.

Europe’s economic problems sees UK become biggest Ferrari market in Europe

Fri, 02 Aug 2013

The Ferrari F12 (pictured) helped Ferrari to strong profits in the first half of 2013 The economic crisis in the Eurozone has seen Ferrari’s sales in countries like Italy and Spain plummet, and Greece managed just one sale in 2012 (and even that came to the UK). But Ferrari have a plan to keep profitability by limiting supply and achieving stronger revenues for the sale they do make – with stuff like Ferrari’s bespoke Atelier and Tailor Made services and Classiche work adding more revenue – to keep them powering forward, and it seems to be working despite poor sales in many European countries. In fact, despite an increase of just 2.8 per cent in volume, Ferrari has managed to increase their profits in the first six months of 2013 by an impressive 20 per cent, with total sales of 3,767 and net profits of €1.22 million.

Volkswagen & Suzuki – it’s handbags at dawn

Mon, 12 Sep 2011

Volkswagen Suzuki Partnership - things aren't exactly rosy Back in 2009 Volkswagen invested a rather large chunk of change (around €2 billion) in Suzuki in exchange for a 20% stake in the Japanese car maker, and there were big hopes for advantages for both parties. Volkswagen were looking for a quick-fix route to the burgeoning car market in India, where Suzuki were doing very well, with sales in India last year of 1.13 million cars – almost half its production – in comparison to VW’s paltry sales of just 53,000. In return, Suzuki were expecting to get a quick route to cutting-edge hybrid and electric tech for their range, and access to VW’s engines.

VW Polo R-Line Style & more equipment across Polo range

Wed, 03 Apr 2013

Volkswagen has introduced the VW Polo R-Line Style – price from £11,740 – in the UK and added more equipment across the Polo range for 2013. We though that VW had done the R-Line thing with the launch of the Polo R-Line this time last year, but it seems the bean counters at Volkswagen have worked out there’s room for a Polo R-Line ‘Light’ in the range, so we now get the VW Polo R-Line Style. That’s because VW decided that, unlike most of the VW range where the R-Line is an add-on pack for any model, the Polo R-Line only comes with the 1.2 litre 105PS engine – albeit in 3-door or 5-door guise – so you can’t have a more butch-looking R-Line with ‘lesser’ Polos.
