this door kit is very heavy on the lock rods and lock mechanisms.

this kit is worth its weight in gold.  this stuff is so hard to find especially in one place. this is all taken from a 1968 charger driver door..
some of these parts will work for  1969 and 1970 door, but it is coming from a 1968 charger door and that is what all the hardware is designed for...the lock rod especially is in a different place from 1968 and 69 and 70..you can redrill your door to work in either case but the lock position is different on these ..68 in the back of the door nearest the door jam and 69 70 near the elbow of the driver..
..this kit is hard to find and hard to duplicate and again coming right out of a 1968 charger drivers door..i am not sure if this hardware is the same as the b-body door..i thought there were some subtle differences.
if you bought a new empty door or need to repair yours, this is where it is at.  I am not guaranteeing every piece is here to for a complete door assembly, but as you can see it is very complete.

Video: Peter Schreyer on premium proportion

Tue, 03 Apr 2012

Kia has released a short film featuring Peter Schreyer that provides an insight into the world of premium car design in which he explains the importance of proportion. In the presentation, Schreyer sketches the company's new K9 sedan, describing how a rear-wheel drive platform affects the car's design, with its generous wheelbase, short front overhang and the 'prestige distance' between the center of the front wheel and the A-pillar. Bernie Ecclestone's daughter buys pricey house in Los Angeles

Tue, 14 Jun 2011

After nearly three years, Candy Spelling has finally found a buyer for her Los Angeles mansion (which some would call a castle)--the daughter of Formula One commercial boss Bernie Ecclestone. Petra Ecclestone, 22, will be the new owner of the 57,000-square-foot home in Holmby Hills, according to the Wall Street Journal. Spelling was asking $150 million for the joint, which puts it among the most expensive homes in the country, according to the newspaper.

Want your 2013 Mercedes E63 AMG to look like an E220? Now you can.

Sat, 19 Jan 2013

Mercedes are to offer a Business Line Pack for the 2013 E63 AMG which tones down its extreme looks and makes it look more prosaic. If you run a successful business, it’s important to look the part. But it’s equally important not to shout about your success (well, it is in Europe) too loudly or your workforce might think you should be paying them more instead of indulging your petrolhead side, and customers might decide you’re overcharging them if you look too flash.
