Vauxhall Meriva – the interior

Mon, 18 Jan 2010

The interior of the 2010 Vauxhall Meriva A couple of weeks ago Vauxhall revealed the details on the new Vauxhall Meriva and sent us a heap of pictures. Probably the biggest stand-out was the carry-over of the suicide doors from the original Meriva Concept (which we do have reservations about) but overall the new Meriva does look a more than half-decent car. Range Rover Evoque: A different Evoque for every customer

Sat, 05 Mar 2011

The Range Rover Evoque in Geneva came in a fetching shade of green We’ve had the roll out of the Range Rover Evoque piecemeal over the last nine months, from the first showing of an Evoque with a name at Kensingon Palace last July, through to the reveal of the 5-Door Evoque – accidentally at Paris and then officially at Los Angeles. What we now learn at Geneva is that Land Rover intends for the Evoque to be the most customisable Range Rover there has ever been, with an almost endless permutation of options and colours and fabrics and styles and… The starting point for customising the Evoque – beyond choosing either diesel or petrol, 2WD or 4WD and 3 or 5 door – is the basic trim options of Pure, Prestige and Dynamic. Then you’ll get confronted with the options for the exterior paint job; there are twelve of those with three different, contrasting roof colours.

Nissan NV200 (2012): London's next taxi cab?

Tue, 07 Aug 2012

The London black cab is being thoroughly rebooted, and it's Nissan who's challenging the dominance of the traditional black taxi. It's brought a new NV200 London Taxi to the capital during the 2012 Olympics in its bid to replace one of the world's most iconic vehicles. Nissan claims the NV200 cab will be cheaper, greener, and more user-friendly than the current fleet of LTI TX4s, and we may yet see a fully electric version join the ranks if trials are successful.
