Henrik Fisker wants to buy back Fisker
Mon, 27 May 2013The resignation of Henrik Fisker in March from the eponymous company he worked so hard to build in to a credible ‘Green’ car company precipitated the meltdown of Fisker, which now stands on the edge of bankruptcy over $171 million owed to the US government. Top Gear is back! Series 21 to air on 2 February
Wed, 22 Jan 2014Reuters Top Gear is returning to Britain's TV screens in early February, it was confirmed today. It's great news for car enthusiasts who've missed their regular fix of Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond messing about in cars – there has been no Top Gear on our tellies since last summer (barring the incessant repeats on Freeview channels such as Dave). The BBC said Top Gear series 21 would air on Sunday 2 February 2014.
Next Volvo XC90 to ditch dashboard buttons
Tue, 03 Jun 2014VOLVO is looking to the future of in-car technology in next year's new XC90 by doing away with almost all buttons and replacing them with a new combination of a touch-screen, a head-up display and steering wheel-mounted thumb wheels. The system is designed to make better use of the available interior space while reducing distractions for the driver, but it will mean that users will have to start from scratch to learn how to operate even the car's most basic interior functions. To make it worthwhile Volvo is integrating new features like remote 'Park and Pay' applications and the ability to use and mirror Apple iOS apps in the interface.
