Brand:GM OEM Manufacturer Part Number:M20

Here is a original Muncie 4spd M20 wide ratio trans with the original GM gear set.The M20 trans were mostly installed in high performance cars with a higher rearend ratio (3:30-3:73). The trans has a 10 spline input and a 27 spline output shaft. The M20 trans has a 2.52 1st gear ratio. The main case is near perfect and the tail housing is nice but does have a small break in the lower rear web.the trans is clean inside and out.The trans has no stripped bolt hole threads or broken ears. The gears and syncros inside look nice and the main case is still retains the original W fill plug.I personally have not used the trans and don't know the working condition. The trans shifts and turns over smoothly into each gear. Date code P8B29.Main case is 3925660.tail 3857584.side cover 3831707 and bearing retainer is 3861326.local pick up is welcome.Take a look at the pics and see if you could use this trans in your restore project car or hotrod.thanks and good luck

What the Future Holds, Nobody Knows

Tue, 22 Dec 2009

It's a testament to the talent, charisma and relative celebrity of Ian Callum, Derek Jenkins and Franz von Holzhausen - heads of Jaguar, Mazda and Tesla design, respectively - that they managed to captivate a crowd of industry insiders at the tail end of the Los Angeles Auto Show's second press-preview day. This despite being given a nebulous topic to discuss with a moderator who knew little about the subject. Dan Lyons, a technology columnist at Newsweek, oversaw the panel discussion that was to focus on "Tomorrow's Cars...Practical Transportation or Groundbreaking Design?" He asked only one question on that topic before digressing into a more general discourse on the design strategies of Jaguar, Mazda and Tesla.

BMW M5 30th Anniversary Edition (2014) first official pictures

Wed, 07 May 2014

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 07 May 2014 15:02 BMW is marking the 30th anniversary of the M5 by building the most powerful ever version of its legendary super-saloon. The BMW M5 ‘30 Jahre M5’ has an extra 39bhp from a tweaked version of its 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8, plus there’s a smattering of special trim and anniversary badging, and just 300 will be built. Apparently ‘this power boost has been achieved through carefully calculated tweaks to the engine management and an increase in charge pressure’.
