1968 -70 BUICK RIVIERA FACTORY AM/FM STEREO RADIO. An original “Delco” two piece stereo AM FM unit. This was the top of the line radio option, the extra cost high at the time so not many car were equipped with it. Today, it’s rare to find these anywhere, especially one as nice as this one. Compete with all adjusting knobs, dial face plate, large connecting cable to the extra amplifier box. This unit has not been tested, therefore we cannot guarantee performance. However, the reasonable start price reflects this. This AM FM stereo would be a great factory addition to any collectible Riviera or other full size Buick. This is a no reserve auction.

Porsche Macan will sell 75,000 a year

Tue, 11 Sep 2012

The Porsche Macan – Porsche’s more compact SUV, based on the Audi Q5 – looks set to sell at a rate of 75,000 cars a year. The new Porsche Macan - the Porsche Cajun as was -  already looked set to take Porsche sales to another level with projected sales of 45,000 a year from 2013, but it looks like that ambitious target is going to be exceeded. German weekly WirtschaftsWoche is reporting that Porsche’s procurement boss, Uwe-Karsten Staedter, has put Porsche suppliers on notice that they are expecting to sell 75,000 Macans a year by the end of 2013 – an increase of 2/3rds on the original sales predictions.

Tue, 16 Jul 2013

Volkswagen is rolling out a new 1.8-liter turbocharged and direct-injected TSI engine which will debut in the Jetta, Beetle, and Passat later this year. This thrifty new engine will replace the 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine now available in those models. But the 1.8-liter is no slouch: it produces the same 170 hp as the outgoing five-cylinder engine, while adding 7 lb-ft torque for a total of 184.
