1968-72 Oem Fomoco Ford F100 F 150 F 250 Ranger Ash Try And Bracket on 2040-parts.com
North Olmsted, Ohio, US
The item that you are bidding on is an original Ford FOMOCO ashtry and bracket that was taken off of a 1968 Ford F-100 Ranger. It will probably fit other years but the buyer is responsible for doing their own research to make sure that this part is compatible with their vehicle. The ash tray and bracket are both in good restorable condition. It does have the expected rust and wear that an original vintage part would have including rust in and on the tray and on the bracket and some suffs dents and scratches (please see photos). It was going to be used in a project vehicle so it had some sand blasting done to it. The blasting revealed some pin holes in the bottom of the tray but it can easily be patched, prepped and painted to a nice restored condition. The door on the ash tray is in nice condition with very little wear on the original paint. There is a small chip on the bottom edge of the door handle but it is hardly noticable and does not effect the function of the tray. It has all but one ball bearing missing but otherwise is in good working condition. This tray is being sold as is for restoration purposes. Please email me with any questions or to request any additional pictures and I will be happy to help you as best I can. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!

Porsche finally becomes a VW company
Thu, 05 Jul 2012Volkswagen has announced it is to finalise its takeover of Porsche by buying the remaining 50.1 per cent of Porsche stock for €4.46 billion. The takeover of Porsche by VW has been a long and rocky road, but then family fallouts are always messy. It all started with Porsche attempting to consume VW, but some clever manoeuvring by Ferdinand Piech thwarted the efforts of his cousin, Wolfgang Porsche, to swallow up his business and the financial crisis saw Porsche rack up €10 billion in debt in the process.

Merdad vision of the Range Rover Evoque – the Evoque Mer-Nazz
Tue, 25 Oct 2011The Merdad Evoque Mer-Nazz We’re already starting to see the first efforts of the pimpers, tuners, modders and customisers on the new Range Rover Evoque surfacing, and the latest is the Merdad Evoque Mer-Nazz Regular readers with good memories will remember Merdad as the man unfortunate enough to be the UK arm of the Gemballa operation when everything went wrong for Uwe Gemballa. That meant the end of Gemballa in the UK, but Merdad has bounced back with his now eponymous company to create extreme cars for those with tastes for more unsubtle forms of car customisation. Merdad’s first effort was a very Gembala-esque two-door Cayenne, but he went British with a subsequent effort when he created the McLaren MP4-12C MehRon, which we took to be an homage to Ron Dennis.
