Driven: Volkswagen Golf Mk7

Thu, 25 Oct 2012

Walking up to the seventh-generation VW Golf, redesigned flip key in hand, you're in no doubt that this is a) new or – perhaps more importantly – b) a Golf. It's the "200 meter test" lead exterior designer, Andreas Mindt tells us and, while we're suspicious of the idea of self-conscious ‘iconic design', you have to concede he's right. Thu, 05 Apr 2012

Acura held the world debut of the Acura RLX Concept at the New York auto show, which indicates the design and engineering direction for Acura's flagship sedan, set to launch at the beginning of 2013. The RLX Concept's design continues the brand's ‘Keen Edge' design philosophy, with bodyside surfacing clearly related to the ILX we first saw in Detroit. The RLX maintaining approximately the same length as the current RL but with a wheelbase increased by 50mm while the front overhang has been reduced by the same amount.

As we wait for solid news on what exactly the Jaguar C-X16 will become for production - the XE badge is by no means a certainty, never mind whether it launches as a convertible too – Jaguar are busying themselves offering up every single morsel of information they can showcase on a new website devoted to the C-X16.
