Jaguar BlackJag 2004 concept car up for sale
Wed, 28 May 2014It's not often that a former auto show concept is offered for sale, mostly because of buzzkill stuff like government crash standards, emissions compliance documents and other boring paperwork. But it does happen from time to time, such as when General Motors sold off a chunk of its Heritage Collection -- though most of those cars were sold without titles, just on bills of sale, which prevents them from being registered for road use. This week there is (allegedly) a 2004 Geneva motor show concept for sale -- a running concept car for that matter -- with a steep price to go along with it, as GTSpirit has discovered.
Lexus LF-NX concept
Wed, 04 Sep 2013Lexus' LF-NX mid-size crossover concept, which debuts next week in Frankfurt, explores the possibility of a future model in the carmaker's range that would take on the Range Rover Evoque and Audi Q3. The concept previews another evolution of the ‘L-finesse' design language and features angular design and a front that's dominated by the huge spindle grille as well as Lexus' signature front light arrangement. Like the Lexus IS, the arrow-shaped DRLs are separated from the headlamps, while the front corners separate the bumper from the front wings with a sharp vertical line.
Audi: Electric Turbo, e-Gas & Intelligent Hybrids
Sun, 23 Sep 2012Audi are developing new technologies to make cars more efficient including synthetic fuel, electric turbos and intelligent hybrids. Necessity is the mother of invention, and increasingly stringent CO2 emissions targets imposed by governments are making car makers ever more resourceful in their quest to cut emissions. The fact that CO2 emissions are not the bad guy – that’s NOx and particulate emissions – means the environmental benefits are not a panacea for a better climate, but benefits from new technology are nonetheless real.
