Lamborghini Sesto Elemento concept

Lamborghini revealed the hugely anticipated Sesto Elemento concept at the 2010 Paris motor show. Based on the Gallardo supercar, the Sesto Elemento (six elements in the Italian sports car maker's native tongue) is a technological marvel, created entirely in carbon fiber to bring the vehicle's overall weight down to less than 1000kg. Infiniti Etherea concept (2011) at 2011 Geneva motor show

This is the Infinit Etherea, unveiled today at the 2011 Geneva motor show, and the company is unusually candid about the purpose of this new, smaller Infiniti show car. The blurb says: 'it is a compact luxury model that previews how a future entry-level Infiniti could look.' Says it all really. The compact vehicle is aimed at the younger buyer looking for a little luxury - it's all about downsizing.

Canadian Grand Prix: Vettel takes pole ahead of Hamilton

Hamilton’s Mercedes (pictured) is in 2nd place for tomorrow’s Canadian Grand Prix Lewis Hamilton may have managed to make it four front rows in a succession, but it’s Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel who has taken pole position in a rain soaked Montreal for tomorrow’s 2013 F1 Canadian Grand Prix. Early on in qualifying Hamilton and Rosberg dominated in the Mercedes, but the Red Bulls started to show their pace and in Q2 they were at the top of the leaderboard. Felipe Massa managed to crash in Q2 and Button, held up in the pit lane whilst the accident was cleared, couldn’t manage to get across the start-finish line in time to do another lap, crashing out in Q2 and 12th palce on tomorrow’s grid.
