Up for bid is an original 1968 Austin America Driver’s Handbook (Owner’s Manual) published by The British Motor Corporation in 1968. The manual is in great useable condition, but has some signs of use and wear and the previous owner made MANY notes inside the book using a red ink pen (see PICs). On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being brand new, I’d rate this manual at 9.0 for its overall condition. Buyer will pay a fixed $3.50 shipping fee for USPS Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation. Tasked with replacing the popular and long-running Gallardo, the Huracan claims to be faster, more efficient and more high-tech than its predecessor. The biggest change is a switch in the construction, which now uses a mix of aluminium and carbonfibre to create a big increase in stiffness but a lighter structure.

Presented at the 1999 Tokyo Motor Show, the project began when Marc Newson was commissioned by Ford global design director, J Mays, to create an innovative interior. Their mutual passion for design and their enthusiasm led to a much larger project and Newson eventually delivered a complete working prototype.
