Audi to build cars that can predict the future

Audi is hoping to make traffic jams, parking and city centre navigation much easier with a new suite of technology called Audi Urban Intelligent Assist (AUIA), while Audi traffic Light Online helps you avoid red traffic lights. Combining the work of its own Electronics Research Laboratory in Silicon Valley with four leading US research universities, the eventual aim is that this new technology will essentially be able to predict the future. BMW Adds Two New Exhibits to Museum

BMW added two new exhibits to its Museum in Munich, Germany this past weekend, designed to showcase the automakers forward thinking ambitions towards lightweight, efficient vehicles. Called the Simple and Clever concepts, the three wheeled urban contraptions were designed as a research exercise to make maneuvering in urban areas easier and more energy efficient. The Simple concept - an acronym of the project name 'sustainable and innovative mobility product for low energy consumption' - combines features and advantages from both automobiles and motorcycles and is powered by a 36kW combustion engine and an electric motor.

In an effort to appeal to those who want make a ‘Sporty’ statement, Lexus has decided that there should be an F Sport version of the hybrid-only CT 200h. Lexus are keen to point  out that the CT 200h F Sport “…receives a number of visual and performance enhancements in keeping with Lexus’ F Sport model line-up”.
