I have a very nice original BBC aluminum intake from a 68 427 390hp motor. Intake is rare and hard to find in this condition. It was cast in 9-20-67. It is for the Rochester carb with square ports. The Gemballa Enzo MIG-UI Update 12/1/2010: Gemballa have now sent us more details of the Gemballa MIG-U1 and a set of photos. Revealed is probably too strong a word, as it would appear that Gemballa are not overly keen to let anyone have any information on their Gemballa MIG-U1, a customised Ferrari Enzo created for the Gemballa Middle East Distributors the Illyas and Mustafa Galadari Group. Gemballa has taken Mustafa’s own Enzo and ‘Gemballa-ed’ it.

The new entry-level, sub-£17k Caterham Seven If there’s one thing you know about the Caterham Seven – Caterham’s recreation of Colin Chapman’s iconic Lotus Seven – it’s that it’s not b exactly laden with fripperies and heavy technology. So when Caterham tell us that they’re soon going to launch a new, entry-level, Seven that takes the Seven “…back to its simple design roots” we do wonder how much simpler the Seven can be than it already is. But Caterham say the new Seven will be probably the most fuel efficient car they produce with a new EU-6 compliant engine providing accessible fun for ‘under £17k’.

CCS students tackle GM project

Seniors studying Transportation Design at the College for Creative Studies (CCS) in Detroit, Michigan, have recently completed a project with General Motors that has been underway since late 2009. General Motors challenged the students to design an Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) that focused on the brand identity of Buick, Cadillac or Chevrolet, utilized the EREV components, and optimized aerodynamic attributes. Design features that incorporated sustainability materials and efficiency were also considered important components of the design development.
