Driven: BMW 5 Series GT
Thu, 25 Nov 2010It's an illustration of the place London has become that it's typically possible to park brand new or exotic cars on an average street and be met with studied indifference by the average passer by. So why, during a week of driving a BMW 5 Series GT, were we made to feel so conspicuous? 2012 Renault Twingo Facelift revealed
Thu, 28 Jul 2011Renault Twingo gets a new nose for 2012 The Renault Twingo is Renault’s smallest car, and not one we Brits have really taken to our hearts, at least not unless we need very basic hire car when in Europe. So a 2012 facelift for the Twingo may not be huge news, but it is the last step on the way to an all-new Twing0 which will share its underpinnings with the next generation Smart and, we assume, become rear wheel drive in the process. The facelift we get on the Twingo looks like it’s going to be just the nose, as that’s the only photo Renault has released, unless they have a surprise in store for the Twingo when it arrives at Frankfurt in September.
Public urged to give view on A9 plan
Fri, 01 Nov 2013THE PUBLIC have been urged to have their say on the design of the most expensive road project in Scotland's history. The £3 billion upgrade of the A9, which runs from central Scotland to the north coast, to full dual carriageway will cost more than the M74 completion, the new Forth road bridge and the Aberdeen bypass combined. The first public displays setting out the logistical and environmental impact of the first £40 million section of the upgrade, from Kincraig to Dalraddy in the Highlands, will be unveiled this month.
