1968 Evinrude Yachtwin 3 Hp Sailboat Long Shaft - Will Ship on 2040-parts.com
Reedsburg, Wisconsin, US
Selling this for a friend, 1968 Evinrude Yachtwin sailboat motor. It was purchased to use on a sailboat that needed too much work, so the sailboat was sold and the motor remains. It has been to a shop recently to get serviced, the list of what was done is below. BUT THIS MOTOR HAS NEVER BEEN USED BY ME OR THE OWNER, so it is sold AS IS, after all it is 40+ years old. There is a video of this running in a tank. Once warmed up, it starts great, when cold it started a bit hard so it may need some more tuning, or maybe just some use, again sold AS IS due to the fact that it hasn't been used in ???? years.
This is a tall motor. From the top of the transom to the centerline of the prop is 27 inches, to the bottom of the skeg is 31 inches. It does have an unusual clamp action in the middle of the lower unit. The two toggle screws break the motor in half - I assume for stowage in a the sailboat. It works quite nicely, loosen the two bolts, they swing out the way, and the lower unit half comes off.
NO GAS TANK IS INCLUDED. There is no manual for the engine.
The receipt for the service reads - TESTED tank operation - 190 degrees. R & R impeller and plate. Cleaned water pump outlet and tube and grommets. Removed head, inspected, cleaned water passages. Removed all carbon from head, cylinder, walls, and pistons. R & R spark plugs. Ran in test tank - 165 degrees. New parts - impeller, water pump plate, head gasket, spark plugs.. $235.57
This service was done on 4/3/12, then the engine sat for 15 months unused until this week.
Because of the size of this, there will be a $20 crating charge on top of exact cost at UPS. I am entering a flat fee of $100 for shipping, but once it is sold, I will crate it, and get an invoice. You can be sure that EXACT SHIPPING PLUS $20 will only be seen on the invoice. There will be a few days of handling time because of the crating.

Honda Jazz Si Limited Edition launched in the UK
Mon, 02 Jul 2012Honda has revealed a limited edition Jazz for the UK – the Jazz Si – with sporty looks as standard. It’s a bit of a cliché, but Honda’s customer demographic, certainly in the UK, is generally past the first flush of youth. So we’re not sure if a limited edition ‘sporty’ Jazz – the Honda Jazz Si – is aimed at trendy wrinklies or whether Honda are hoping to appeal to their grandchildren, but whatever it is the UK gets a sporty limited edition Jazz offering in showrooms next month.
