Ok, I don't know what I got my self into. I purchased this block from a local classified ad thinking it was an easy fix. It's not.
Needs a lot of machine work (see pictures) there's a hole in the side of the block and i was told if i decided to repair it would also need sleeves.

Not sure if anybody out there can repair it. It's out of my pockets...

I'll try to answer any questions to the best of my knowledge.

Prefer local pick ups. I am willing to ship if you prepay the shipping cost.

Please feel free to ask any questions or ask for any additional pictures before bidding as its final sale SOLD AS IS! No Refunds!

Who's Where: Dave Rand resigns from Changan Automobile

Mon, 27 Feb 2012

Dave Rand, the former General Motors Design Chief, has resigned from the Chinese State-owned automaker after joining the company last October. Rand's resignation, which was made official last week, follows that of his senior at Changan, Ken Ma who stepped down as Vice President of Design earlier this year. It is not clear precisely why both men have decided to leave the Chinese carmaker, but several people familiar with the situation have said that both Rand and Ma's departures are connected with Changan Auto's recent financial difficulties.

Tesla Model S owners will receive upgraded charge adapters

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

After a garage fire in Irvine, Calif., in November of last year in which an overheated charging system for a Tesla Model S sedan was stated to possibly have been involved, Tesla will be sending out upgraded wall-charger adapters to all Tesla Model S owners. This upgrade comes on the heels of an over-the-air software update for the charging system in the Model S sedan. Software version 5.8.4 would enable the charging system to automatically reduce the charging current by 25 percent if the system detects unexpected fluctuations in the input power, essentially slowing the charging current and reducing the heat created in any high-resistance connections if the car senses that the current is unsteady.

New Honda Civic launch delayed, but we do get new photos & video

Honda Civic gets delayed by flooding in Thailand The 2012 Honda Civic will be built in the UK. But that hasn’t stopped production for cars being prepared for the UK and Europe launch from being delayed by the floods in Thailand. It’s an indication of how, despite car makers’ efforts to use a local supply chain, car manufacturing is far more dependent on a world-wide supply chain than we probably realise.
