NO RESERVE..
Here in this listing is a 1968 Ford 428 Cobra Jet Motor. The motor is fresh back from the machine shop. I was planning on using this motor for my ford truck project but I am going a different route. I spent a lot of money at the machine shop to get it ready. The block was pressure tested and then magnafluxed to make sure it was clear to rebuild. After testing the block came back fine. It was then cleaned and bored 30 over and honed. It was line honed and new freeze out plugs installed. The block is ready to go. I do have a set of the original heads that I didn't do anything with. My plan was to use the new edelbrock heads. They are in good shape but will need to be rebuilt. I have the original crank from the motor that is good but again was planning on using a scat crank kit setup. I have the original timing chain cover and some other misc Parts. Please call me with all questions at 347-386-4048. I will send pics of anything needed so please call. Don't wait for the last minute to ask for pics. Call.......
These motors are very rare and very hard to find. This is your one chance to get one that's ready to be built the way you want. I will load all parts onto a pallet and assist in any way I can. See below about freight shipping.
Please call me at 347-386-4048
Happy bidding!!!!!!!
I also reserve the right to end the auction early as it is listed for sale locally.
I have gotten prices on shipping from YRC Freight. It was about $500 to a California terminal from NY
