Single 1968 C8AE-6090-J cylinder head for Ford FE engines. 14 Bolt exhaust pattern for 68 Cougar GT-E 427 and early 68 428 Cobra Jet applications. Have A.I.R injection(SMOG) ports as shown. Head was just shot blasted and magnafluxed for cracks. No cracks, damage, or repairs. This is a very nice core head. This core set is guaranteed to be rebuildable and may need parts like guides, seats, etc. This is a very nice early Cobra Jet/Cougar GT-E head. These rarely come up for sale. Don't miss this one!

This is a pair of original Ford cylinder heads for a Ford FE engine. The casting number on each head is C8AE-6090-J. This head has the high performance 14 bolt exhaust pattern. The head also has the A.I.R. injection ports(smog). The date code is 7M15 as shown. The C8AE-6090-J head was used on very early 68 428 Cobra Jet engines and 68 Cougar GT-E models with the infamous side oiler 427. This is a very hard to find cylinder head. 

This head is in very good original condition as shown. There are no breaks, repairs or modifications .The head has just been shot blasted and are free of rust, pitting, etc. The ports are also completely stock with no porting or deburring. The head has a very thick deck surface as shown. The combustion chambers have never been modified. Finding a nice unmolested C8AE-6090-J heads is very hard to do without making a deal with the devil. Hamilton set a stunning lap to open final qualifying, with Jenson Button managing to almost match his team mate with a lap just 0.152 seconds behind to make the front row a McLaren lock-out.
