I have this complete set of 1968 Impala 4 dr/ht "no post" door panels
(Just a note these will not work on the sedan or the  station wagon.) but they will work on your 67  full size Chevy, and maybe the Buick Electra! These have been assembled with a new vapor barrier boards. The cloth has also been doubled stitched for more durability as you can see in the pictures. I know these are not done in original material but they add a different look to your doors.  Now I told the person doing the panels I was thinking of doing power windows so he didn't finish the front side of the panels but he did do the holes on the back side in case I changed my mind. The window sweeps seem to be in great condition, that would be up to you if you want to replace them. Now they will also need the mounting clips or just the panel screws like I was going to do.These were in my blue 68 Impala I had that was trashed at a local body shop. So I, in the mean time I found another 68 4dr ht that needed a motor and trans which I  already had all rebuilt. The interior (black) was almost perfect in the new 1, all except the carpet So I don't need the blue anymore. I am listing way below what I gave to have them done, my loss your gain. Now if you have any questions please ask before you bid.. If you would like to see more pictures just ask. I have had these stored in a cool and dry room since I got them back so they would stay nice. Good luck and thank you for taking the time to look. These will have to be shipped at the economy rate sorry if that inconveniences anyone. If you are in the area of Jackson Tn. you are more then welcome to just pick them up. If you would like more pictures of them also just ask. Now the part numbers I have listed were stamped on the back side of the upper metal panels.

Getting to know you, Tommy Kendall, on the Autoweek America Adventure

Mon, 31 Oct 2011

If ever you wanted to get to know someone--I mean really get to know them--spend the better part of six days in a car, just the two of you. I would not suggest it as a job-interviewing tactic, but perhaps a portion of that time might get HR approval. Tommy Kendall is a fascinating young man.

Audi RS5 spotted at the Nurburgring

Wed, 01 Apr 2009

The Audi RS5 caught testing at the Nurburgring this week. The Audi S5 is a cracking looking car. Stylish and understated, it carries a big enough stick to provide oodles of fun for most, but a real barn-stormer of car, with plenty of power would, even in these constrained times, be a winner.

Miko's high performance material with an ecological edge

Tue, 23 Feb 2010

Italian company Miko specializes in the development and production of Dinamica, a high quality ecological microfiber that can be used for anything from car door panels or upholstery to fashion accessories. The faux suede material is produced from a combination of recycled polyester and polyurethane fibers, and is also 100 percent recyclable at the end of its lifecycle. Lorenzo Terraneo, CEO of Miko, says: "Our priority has always been to invest in the research and development of recycled and eco-compatible materials with special characteristics that go far beyond existing qualitative standards." It is a testament to Terraneo's commitment that his company achieved its early aspirations and eco credentials long before concern for the environment and the reduction of carbon emissions was high on the political agenda or prevalent in the public conscience.
