I am retiring and its time to sell alot of the goodies my late husband and I have accumulated over the years. Up for sale is a real nice 1968 Oldsmobile Toronado AM Radio. The tag on the side of the radio says Model 7303253. It has a note on the bottom cover that says "Serviced Plays Great 1/09". We picked up this radio and alot of others over the years at various venues. I recently had it tested and it plays great up and down the dial. The case is clean with no rust. All mechanicals work as they should. The nose, lens and pushbuttons are in excellent condition. The radio comes without knobs as shown. The center to center shaft distance is approx. 6 l/4", I'm selling the radio without a warranty because the electonics is over 35 years old and don't trust old electronics. I will be putting up more radios from my late husbands estate for sale this week and next week. The radio in the picture is the one you get. Ford announces electric car plans at the Detroit auto show
Sun, 11 Jan 2009Not to be left out of the electric car party, Ford announced Sunday at the Detroit Auto Show that it was developing a line of electric powered vehicles. In addition to its already announced hybrids and plug-in hybrids, Ford is working with Magna International to bring fully electric cars to market with lithium-ion battery packs. In the works is a Focus and Fusion-based vehicles that will be available in with all three powertrains.
Infiniti to launch G37 roadster
Tue, 13 May 2008By Tim Pollard (artist's impression by Radovan Varicak) Motor Industry 13 May 2008 12:53 Nissan's upmarket brand Infiniti has announced it will build a roadster version of the G37 coupe – aimed squarely at the BMW 3-series Coupe Convertible. And the Ferrari California isn't the only folding tin-top being announced this week; the G37 will also be launched as a CC with a multi-piece metal roof that stows at the flick of a switch. Our artist's impression shows how the new open-top G will look with the roof stowed away. No official photos have been issued yet, but we do know that Infiniti's first roadster will be on sale in the US market in February 2009.
Vauxhall & Opel could merge with Peugeot Citroen.
Sat, 13 Oct 2012GM Europe (Opel and Vauxhall) could extend their deal with PSA (Peugeot Citroen) with a Joint Venture or merger. When GM Europe and PSA announced they were forming an alliance earlier this year, we asked if this was an admission that the mainstream car market in Europe had changed forever, and an alliance between Opel, Vauxhall, Peugeot and Citroen was the only way to keep the brands viable. But we did also question what use a projected annual saving of €2 billion by sharing suppliers and co-developing platforms would be to PSA and GM considering their woeful losses.
