Description:

Very rare: Original Driver's Manual & OEM Pouch for: 1968 Porsche 911 S models. This set has been in a private collection for well over 30 years and it did not come out of a glove box! This is an authentic, original print, period correct and vintage Porsche literature set!

List of contents:

1- Authentic and genuine Porsche embossed burgundy/maroon (vinyl) manuals pouch (storage case) --- this is the genuine item and NOT a cheap and flimsy reproduction knock-off imitation - it looks lightly used with only barely noticeable blemish and light smudge marks - there are no rips or any tears on the outside or the inside  - only some minor age related ripples are noted - please see photos!

2- Authentic, period correct and original Porsche (printed in English) Driver's Manual (W312 e   Edition IV/68   Printed in Germany   Subject to change without notice) for:

1968 Porsche 911S chassis:  2.0 L (6 cylinder) models --- this owner's manual is in very good condition for its age - contains 96 pages in total - the original spiral spine is perfectly intact with no broken links - the interior pages are in great condition but some age related yellowing is noted around the edges - the front cover shows some wear marks, some indentations and two horizontal cut marks immediately above and under the "PORSCHE" script - this has also scored the 1st page and a hand written alphanumerical "WKD 460-720" is also noted on the 1st page - the handwritten part number is Porsche's internal part number for a 1967 911 S driver's manual- the rear cover displays wear markings, blemish and grime marks - please see photos!

This manual set is NOT a recently circulated item. It has been in our possession for at least the last 15 years and prior to ours, it was in another collector's possession for well over two decades!

Overall this manual set is in GREAT condition considering that it is over 45 years old! Very well suitable for a show caliber 911S because this set conveys authenticity and history as opposed to the recent reprinted versions!
