1968 THRU 1982 CORVETTE SPARE TIRE TUB WITH "Y" BRKT. ORIGINAL G.M. TAKE OFF, BEEN IN DRY STORAGE FOR YEARS. CONDITION: AVERAGE OR ABOVE - TUB HAS A DEFECT ON ONE SIDE, APPROX. 4 INCHES IN LENGTH. THE TUB APPEARS TO HAVE RUBBED ON THE MUFFLER ON THAT SIDE. THIS CAN BE EASILY REPAIRED WITH MINIMAL AMOUNT OF LABOR TIME. NO SIGN OF ANY DAMAGE TO THE "Y" BRKT. BOTH ITEMS WILL NEED TO BE PREPARED FOR PAINT, ETC. AND RIVETED TOGETHER. IT DOES NOT COME WITH ANY MOUNTING BOLTS/HARDWARE. In the ad we see a black Corvette Stingray, first in the paint booth and then on the track. It's one of the first examples we've seen in the color, which makes the new body shape look even angrier.
