1968 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Used Rear View Mirror W/dome Light, Vw Beetle?, 68 on 2040-parts.com

No Reserve auction is for a used inside mirror/courtesy light removed from a '68 VW Karmann Ghia. This may fit other years or models, so please research for your application. It's been taken apart, cleaned and in working order. I drilled a small hole opposite the roll pin to drive it out and took the spring contact block apart for cleaning also. The lens has a small crack near the line up pin as shown and some stress cracks near the contacts, but everything snaps in place as it should. The switch works on both the dome on and door open positions (off in the center), although the used bulb is loose on one end and may need to be replaced. The mirror fits the socket well (not floppy), but the glass is in poor condition with staining/fogging as shown. I sprayed some fresh satin black over the wrinkle finish on the base to touch up some chips. Mounting screws and center screw cover are included as shown. Not a show part, but should work great for a daily driver or parts for your current set-up. Make sure to check my store for other Ghia parts.
