1950s 1960s 1970s JEEP HUBCAP FRONT?

HERE'S SOMETHING THAT IS HARD TO FIND YET REASONABLY PRICED.   WE JUST NEVER FIND THESE CAPS. THE FIRST WE HAVE FOUND IN MANY YEARS.  SERIOUSLY.  THIS IS IMPORTANT...PLEASE USE THE ZOOM FEATURE ON THE PICS AND READ ALL OF THE DESCRIPTION. ONE CAP IS INCLUDED.  IMPORTANT...IBELIEVE THIS IS A FRONT CAP THOUGH IT COULD BE USED AS A REAR TOO SINCE IT HAS THE CLIPS THAT HOLD THE CENTER INSERT ON THE BACKSIDE.

IT APPEARS AS THOUGH IT WAS MANUFACTURED BACK IN THE DAY AND FROM WHAT I CAN TELL IS DEFINITELY AN ORIGINAL.  THE CENTER HOLE IS ABOUT 4 AND 5/8".

ANYWAY, ON TO THE DESCRIPTION.  IT IS GOOD IN APPEARANCE OVERALL.  NOT PERFECT BUT A GOOD USED EXAMPLE.   THERE'S BB TO FINGERPRINT SIZED DINGS AND SCRATCHES. SOME OF THIS IS AROUND THE OUTER EDGE PROBABLY FROM IMPROPER INSTALLATION.  ANYWAY, NOT  A BARRETT JACKSON CAP IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM, BUT A PRETTY GOOD LOOKING HARD TO FIND CAP.  LOOK TO MAKE SURE IT IS RIGHT FOR YOUR APPLICATION BEFORE BIDDING! PLEASE.   ONE CAP IS LISTED HERE .  ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, I RATE IT A 4 MINUS, BASED ON AGE, RARITY AND CONDITION.  PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICS CAREFULLY.

ONE OTHER COMMENT, WE SPENT A SEVERAL WEEKENDS AT SOME OF THE LARGEST SWAP MEETS IN THE MIDWEST.  HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND NONE OF THESE!  TAKE A CLOSE LOOK.

I try to be honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old hubcaps have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend hundreds for a set the best you can do are look for those in decent shape which these are.

WE SHIP ALL OVER THE WORLD

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 10 years of selling over a 8000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO SEVERAL NON-PAYERS WE HAVE ADDED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT MEANT FOR THOSE TYPE OF BIDDERS.  WHILE THE VAST MAJORITY OF BUYERS PAY FOR WHAT THEY BID ON, WE HAVE RECENTLY SEEN A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN UNPAID ITEMS.  SO>>>IF YOU PLAN ON BIDDING PLEASE PLAN ON PAYING.   THANKS.  HAPPY BIDDING.

2011 Infiniti FX – the updates

Thu, 07 Apr 2011

Infiniti FX - two new toys & a price rise. Remarkably, it is almost two years since the Infiniti FX launched in the UK. Since when Infiniti has introduced a 3.0 litre diesel version – the Infiniti FX30d – in an attempt to double sales from almost none to slightly more than none.

Missed Shift? American Top Gear struggles to find its own identity

Tue, 30 Nov 2010

"What happened to Top Gear?" my favorite bartender asked this past weekend. "Somebody took the BBC's scripts and wrote Tanner, Rutledge and Adam over cues which previously said Jeremy, Richard and James," I replied. It's an easy sideswipe I admit, but for me--and I'm guessing for the automotive enthusiasts who constitute AutoWeek's audience--it largely tells the tale.

Jaguar F-Type R: Coupe or Roadster?

Sun, 21 Oct 2012

With the new Jaguar F-Type arriving in showrooms in spring 2013, will the follow-on performance F-Type R be a coupe or Roadster? But it’s clear that the new V8 F-Type S isn’t going to be the pinnacle of the F-Type range – far from it. With Jaguar seeking to hang the whole brand identity on their first real roadster since the E-Type, a range-topping variant in the guise of an F-Type R is a certainty.
