You are looking at a set of three shields, two
blue shields (Part #15811 & Part #15812), one black shield (Part #7E130) and a black o-ring to hold the black shield down.  These are professional reproductions produced in Europe of original FaMoCo parts.  Until now, no one reproduced these shields even though they are very often completely broken and destroyed.  THIS AUCTION DOES NOT INCLUDE THE ORANGE INDICATOR NEEDLE OR SHIFTER.  These shields are used for the floor or console mounted shifter in any model 1969 -1973 Ford Mustang/Cougar, 1971 -1972 Ford Maverick, 1972 Ford Torino and many other Ford models that used this type floor shifter.  These are long-awaited parts needed to complete the restoration of your Ford.

In earlier Ford models, some find that they need the smaller sized shield so I have included ABSOLUTELY FREE both size blue shields so that you can choose correctly for your application.  Also the black o-ring is included because often the black shield has trouble staying in place.  Below are installation photos.

Tue, 15 Jan 2008

Still, the unveil of the ‘new’ sawn-off variant was one of the few Detroit surprises not known about beforehand, and offers an enticing glimpse of how the LF-A franchise could develop. Beyond the lack of a roof, the basic body shape is the same as the now-familiar LF-A coupe first unveiled at the 2005 Detroit show.

New Jaguar XJ – The design

Sat, 11 Jul 2009

The design of the new XJ is a big style departure for the Big Cat Design So where were Jaguar to go with the design of the new XJ? Did they stick with a pastiche of the original or go with a contemporary design? They really had no choice – they had to bring the Big Cat in to the 21st century.

MG name stands proud again at Longbridge

Wed, 21 Jan 2009

The company that runs the remnants of former UK automaker MG Rover has dropped a reference to its Chinese parent from its name. NAC MG UK has changed its name to MG Motor UK to emphasize the MG name, a company spokesman said. Nanjing Automobile Company or NAC bought MG Rover's assets in July 2005, three months after the UK's last domestically owned volume carmaker collapsed through financial difficulties.
