This auction is for an original Ford 429/460 upper and lower Alternator Bracket set with the mounting bolts and spacers. I believe that the upper bracket is the same used in the 429 Cobra Jet cars. Check out this site for more information: http://429mustangcougarinfo.50megs.com/components_1htm (Make sure for your own application) Upper Alternator Bracket - DOSE-10156-A Lower Alternator Bracket - DOSE-10145-A The brackets and spacers are in good condition. The lower arm has marks from the alternator adjustment bolts. You should be able to grind these marks smooth if they are of concern to you. It seems the Motor City still knows how to take down a perp because the Detroit Three were fully represented. Ford brought a few models of the Police Interceptor , based on the Taurus, and the Police Interceptor Utility, based on the Explorer.
