Monroe, Washington, United States
Condition:Used

1969 or 1970 Boss 302 service replacement short block, missing one connecting rod. This a really nice D1ZE Boss block that has been sleeved back to a standard bore in all 8 holes. Many people get nervous about sleeves but done correctly they are considered superior to the original cylinders by many serious builders. They correct thin spots from core shift etc giving a solid sturdy base for better ring seal and cooling. This Boss looks to have had some nice machine work and was being built for serious duty! We got the block along with a set of really nice Gurney Eagle heads, injection etc. from the estate of a man who passed away before completing this build. The crank is a factory steel Boss unit that was freshly turned .010 on the rods and mains. The crank will need a polish job as there is light surface rust here and there. There are 7 factory Boss rods here that have been polished on the beams for added durability, we could not find the 8th rod anywhere so you will have to locate one. This would be a great foundation for your Boss Mustang or Cougar Eliminator! Shipping will be by truck freight and I will wrap it and put it on a pallet for shipping. It will be shipped from a business and the zip code is 98272. Weight will be 250lbs with the pallet. Freightquote has worked well for me so try them. Shipping will be the the responsibility of the buyer.

Land Rover sending more Range Rover Evoques to the US

Fri, 20 Jul 2012

Land Rover are increasing the supply of the new Range Rover Evoque to the US by a third to help meet demand. In the land where cubic inches are king and any SUV smaller than a Hummer isn’t really an SUV, it’s amazing that the dinky Range Rover Evoque is a hit – but it is. From sales of just 2,200 Evoques in 2011, Land Rover has managed to shift twice that in the first six months of 2012, and Land Rover dealers are still complaining they can’t get enough Evoques to meet demand.
