Cleaned and checked for cracks. Bore measure 4.040 and should stay .040 over for build. You can always go .060 over if not. Looks good. Great date for a 1969-70 matching car. Very nice block.

Electric cars may be a niche market, but that hasn’t stopped car makers trying to take a piece of whatever action there is, especially as governments around the world are subsidising EVs and and their zero emissions at point of use will help (as long as they sell any) their average CO2 levels.

The current vehicle, developed during BMW's stewardship of the brand in the 1990s and early aughts, saw a midcycle engine switch from a Munich-bred bent-eight to Jaguar's well-regarded AJ powerplant.
