Here are 2 original Ford produced convertible top lift rails and top lift cylinders from a 1969 Mercury Cougar. I believe they are the same on Mustang and Shelby for 1969 and 1970 but you do the research to be sure before bidding. These have been stored for decades indoors. That said, there is some pitting on the cylinder lift rods. Both cylinders are dated 1 8 on their bottoms as shown in the 3rd picture. Both rails clearly have the above listed part numbers and Ford logo clearly stamped into them. The cylinders do extend and retract as they should and lots of air comes out of the hole when compressed, so they may still be good. If not, restore or replace them with new ones. These are extremely hard to find these days. Get these while you can!

THE FORD Fiesta, Britain’s best-selling car, has been declared Used Car of the Year 2012 by car valuation experts CAP. Top of CAP’s criteria when choosing its Used Car of the Year were affordability, practicality, reputation and popularity in the used car market. I wouldn't say it was a sad hunk of Detroit iron, but the 1963 Pontiac Star Chief definitely looked lonely when I discovered it in a Michigander's backyard while delivering pizzas. It wasn't covered, and there was no For Sale sign, but I could tell it needed a home. The paint on the side of the car was in good condition, as far as I could tell.
