This is a NEW air filter element which fits Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles with V8 engine from 1968-1978: 1968 Ford 289 with 2V carb, 302, 390 and 428; 1968-1972 Lincoln Continental with 460 V8; 1969-1971 Ford with 302 and 390 with 2V carburetor; 1969-1972 Ford 351 4V, 400 and 429 and 1974-1978 Ford and Mercury with 460 engine. This element is a direct replacement for the original Ford Motorcraft FA-50 and measures 13.3" outside diameter, 11.3" inside diameter and 2.8" tall. Perfect for replacing a missing, dirty or aftermarket element which typically is not the correct size. Government reveals plans to cut cost of motoring

From next year, only evidence from accredited professionals will be considered in whiplash claims, meaning cheats will no longer be able to get away with exaggerated or fraudulent compensation claims. Holidaymakers Reminded To Make Pre-Easter Tyre Safety Checks
Tue, 15 Apr 2014AHEAD of the Easter getaway, a leading tyre safety organisation is reminding the UK’s 650,000 caravan and motorhome owners about the importance of ensuring their tyres are in a safe, roadworthy condition before hitting the road. Stuart Jackson, chairman, TyreSafe, said: “For many, Easter is the first time of the year that they will be heading away in their caravan or motorhome. After the winter when they’ve often had little or no use, it’s essential that the vehicle’s tyres are checked thoroughly before use otherwise a number of potential safety hazards could bring an abrupt end a relaxing holiday.” As part of a visual inspection looking for obvious signs of damage such as lumps, bulges or cuts in the tyre, owners should also pay particular attention to signs of ageing.
