EBAY has new rules.  They are meant to help the Buyers experience – which we agree with.  However, in the process, they complicate life for Sellers.

We are a small business with excellent Customer Service.  We answer all emails that we receive – even if we don’t know the answer, we will tell you that.  We try to describe our items well.  Many are Reproduction Items – not Original GM – which we clearly note in our auctions.  We ship promptly – usually same day but sometimes the next day if payment is received later in the day.  PLEASE BE AWARE – that sometimes when you pay with Paypal through your checking account, they hold your money.  We cannot ship until it is released.  We ship promptly after we receive your money.

SHIPPING CHARGES – we try our best to keep shipping charges down.  Our charges are based on what it costs us to ship certain items.  These charges are very close to exact.  PLEASE NOTE – Please contact us before bidding if you have questions about shipping charges.

FEEDBACK – Feedback is very important to Sellers. If you have a problem with our Customer Service or one of our items, please let us know promptly and we will work with you to clear up the problem.

STARS – those pesky little stars mean a lot to Sellers – they influence our Fees and our placement in auction views.  Satisfied to EBAY does not actually mean Satisfied.  We need VERY SATISFIED, VERY ACCURATE ETC. in order to help us with Fees and Placement.  If we provide you with a good purchasing experience, please mark us as Very Satisfied.

THANKS SO MUCH!

SAIC's Mobiliant wins 2013 LA Design Challenge

Mon, 25 Nov 2013

SAIC has been revealed as the winner of this year's LA Design Challenge. The Chinese carmaker's entry, a single-seat urban public transit vehicle, was declared the victor after intense judging sessions took place throughout the LA auto show's second press day. The panel – which included Tom Matano, executive director, School of Industrial Design at San Francisco's Academy of Art University, and Stewart Reed, chair of Transportation Design at Pasadena's Art Center College of Design – combed through the entries, discussing their merits and how closely they fit the brief, before hearing the teams' presentations in the afternoon.

Who killed Pontiac? Ask Bob Lutz

Mon, 28 Oct 2013

Bob Lutz is not a man who can be contained within 140 characters. This past weekend he spoke at the Petersen as part of the Inside the MotoMan Studio series, hosted by friend of Autoweek George Notaras (past events have been with Ralph Gilles and Derek Jenkins). Lutz talked at length about his childhood in Switzerland, early memories working for Ford and Chrysler, the time he swayed BMW management away from building Mercedes-like luxoboats, and what Lee Iacocca was really like behind closed doors.

Red Bull 1-2 in Abu Dhabi

Sun, 01 Nov 2009

Sebastian Vettel wins the first Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at Yas Marina It was billed as a procession; a meaningless final race to the topsy-turvy 2009 F1 season. And in a sense it was. Sebastian Vettel managed to best Lewis Hamilton in the McLaren early on, but that tussle never took off after Hamilton retired with dodgy brakes, leaving Vettel to cruise to victory.
