1969 396 standard bore 4 bolt block casting number 3955272 dated K-5-8 stamped T1115JH 19WXXXXX. The block was cleaned and magged and does have some pitting on the top of side and in the cylinders so it will need bored out. The block has a chip where the one head goes up and meets intake so would recommend putting some nickel in there or something else to fill it in for a better seal on the gasket. Also the caps were taken from another block so it will probably need to be line bored. I have the rotating assembly that is correct for this application in another add if interested. BMW UK has revealed that more than 200 UK customers have already placed and order for the new M Twins, with expectations that there will be almost 2000 sales in the first year (60/40 in favour of the M4 Coupe). But even though those first UK buyers for the M3 and M4 haven’t driven their new baby yet, they can now go online and play with the both the new M3 and M4 configurator to spec up their new toy just as they did with the dealer, but get a much better idea of what to expect.
